Semantic segmentation focuses on classifying each pixel in an image into a specific category. It assigns a unique class label to each pixel in an image and divides it into one of the predefined set of semantic categories, such as person, car, or tree. However, this segmentation technique does not differentiate between instances of the same class and treats them as a single entity. Imagine coloring a scene where all cars are blue, all people are red, and everything else is green – that’s semantic segmentation in action. 2, record 15, English, - semantic%20segmentation

The ability to determine the source of an organic substance stems from the relative isotopic abundances of the elements which comprise the material. Because the isotope ratios of elements such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, sulfur, and nitrogen can become locally enriched or depleted through a variety of kinetic and thermodynamic factors, measurement of the isotope ratios can be used to differentiate between samples which otherwise share identical chemical compositions. 1, record 24, English, - isotope%20ratio%20mass%20spectrometry

1, record 24, French, - spectrom%C3%A9trie%20de%20masse%20de%20rapports%20isotopiques
