An airspace of defined dimensions, above the land area or territorial waters of a state, within which the flight of aircraft is prohibited.

OBS

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has officially approved the use of the letter "P" followed by an identification to refer to a specific prohibited area. For example, on aeronautical charts, "P-40" refers to the prohibited area surrounding Camp David in the United States.

Lorsqu’un radar de surface est installé, l’information présentée au contrôleur lui permet de suivre l’évolution des avions, de vérifier que les pistes sont bien dégagées avant un mouvement, de donner de l’information liée à la sécurité, mais cette information ne doit pas être communiquée sous forme de caps spécifiques.

A no entry sign is used whenever entrance to a particular area is prohibited such as the exit of a one-way taxiway. It is located at the beginning of the area to which entrance is prohibited and when possible on the left-hand side. The inscription on the sign shall read "NO ENTRY".
