Recently, the so-called "flexo CTP (Computer to Plate) method" has been developed. In this method, a thin, light absorption layer called "Black layer" is formed on the surface of a photosensitive resin plate, and the resultant resin plate is irradiated with a laser to ablate (evaporate) desired portions of the black layer to form a mask bearing an image (formed by the unablated portions of the black layer) on the resin plate directly without separately perparing a mask. Subsequently, the resultant resin plate is imagewise exposed to light through the mask, to thereby crosslink the exposed portions of the resin, followed by developing treatment in which the unexposed portions of the resin (i.e., uncrosslinked resin portions) are washed away with a developing liquid. 4, record 8, English, - black%20layer

1, record 14, French, - nitruration%20au%20plasma

The heterostructure laser. Heterostructures have been crucially important for the development of semiconductor lasers. ... Alferov was the first to succeed in producing a lattice-adapted heterostructure (AIGaAs/GaAs, 1969) with clear borders between the layers. Alferov's research team succeeded in rapidly developing many types of components built up of heterostructures, including the injection laser which Alferov patented in 1963. A technological breakthrough occurred around 1970 when heterostructure lasers became able to work continuously at room temperatures. These properties have, for example, made fibre-optic communications practically possible. 2, record 15, English, - heterostructure

... the useful life of a semiconductor laser depends on limiting the amount of current applied to the device. Several methods are employed. In one method further chemical elements are introduced into the crystal so that the active layer of the laser is between regions where the band gap is particularly wide. The resulting "heterostructure" has built-in energy barriers that help to prevent the diffusion of charged carriers out of the active layer. Stimulated emission can then be attained at relatively low values of applied current. 4, record 18, English, - heterostructure

In production of chlorine by the diaphragm cell process, salt is dissolved in water and stored as a saturated solution. ... The purified saturated brine is then fed to the cell which typically is a rectangular box. It uses vertical anodes ... The cathode is perforated metal which supports the asbestos diaphragm. ... The diaphragm serves to separate the anolyte (the feed brine) from the catholyte (brine containing caustic soda). Chlorine is evolved at the anode. 4, record 28, English, - diaphragm%20cell%20process
