Over a 3 [second] period, contrast first fills the cortex and subsequently the medulla resulting in a more or less uniformly perfused organ. Further analysis on a pixel-by-pixel basis enables the creation of images that represent aspects of the wash-in curve. Generally, the slope of the wash-in curve is considered proportional to local perfusion, and the peak or plateau of this curve is proportional to blood volume. 2, record 2, English, - wash%2Din%20curve

1, record 3, French, - m%C3%A9thode%20de%20radio%C3%A9chappement

With percentages from 0 to 100 on each axis, the curve shows the cumulative percentage relationships between two variables, one on each axis. The curve is used to measure the degree of departure from a uniform distribution in which 1% of one variable would be matched by 1% in the other variable. A completely uniform distribution would appear as a straight line of 45 °. The more hollow the curve, the more unequal the distribution. This curve is commonly used to show the effect of a tax on the distribution of income. 3, record 4, English, - Lorenz%20curve

2, record 10, French, - lin%C3%A9arit%C3%A9

ICP-AES is an emission spectrophotometric technique exploiting the fact that excited electrons emit energy at a given wavelength as they return to ground state. The fundamental characteristic of this process is that each element emits energy at specific wavelengths peculiar to its chemical character. Although each element emits energy at multiple wavelengths, in the ICP-AES technique it is most common to select a single wavelength (or a very few) for a given element. The intensity of the energy emitted at the chosen wavelength is proportional to the amount (concentration) of that element in the analyzed sample. Thus, by determining which wavelengths are emitted by a sample and by determining their intensities, the analyst can quantify the elemental composition of the given sample relative to a reference standard. 2, record 11, English, - inductively%20coupled%20plasma%2Fatomic%20emission%20spectrometry

In inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry, the sample is usually transported into the instrument as a stream of liquid sample; inside the instrument the liquid is converted into an aerosol through a process known as nebulisation. Then the aerosol is transported to the plasma where it's desolvated, vaporised, atomised and/or ionized by the plasma. The excited atoms and ions emit their characteristic radiation. A device sorts the radiation by wavelength. 1, record 11, English, - inductively%20coupled%20plasma%2Fatomic%20emission%20spectrometry

6, record 11, French, - spectrom%C3%A9trie%20ICP%2DAES
