Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The chlorine and nitrogen radicals may interact through ClO + NO2 = ClNO3 forming chlorine nitrate. This could be an important reaction from the point of view of ozone photochemistry because it removed radicals from both the chlorine and nitrogen systems, and it is these radicals that may play such a large role in the catalytic destruction of ozone. 5, record 1, English, - catalytic%20ozone%20destruction%20cycle

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
3, record 1, French, - cycle%20de%20destruction%20catalytique%20de%20l%27ozone

Recently it has been shown that ozone is also destroyed by the catalytic cycle of oxides of chlorine (C1-C10x). In this case, ozone destruction is accelerated by increased H0x, but retarded by the presence of methane and nitric oxide. The amount of naturally produced C10x in the stratosphere seems to be small and its effect on ozone considerably smaller than that of NOx. 3, record 4, English, - chlorine%20oxides
