1, record 14, French, - %C3%89quipe%20Physique%20et%20G%C3%A9ologie%20Marine

A coastal area with no facility for placing deep draft ships alongside a wharf. Secondary water terminals are established on beaches that desirably are adjacent to rail lines and/or good coastal highways. At secondary water terminals, shipping is unloaded at anchorages located from one to five miles offshore, and the cargo and personnel unloaded are landed in the terminal area by ship-to-shore lighters. The scope of operation is so limited that it is not designated as a probable primary nuclear target. 2, record 15, English, - secondary%20water%20terminal

Large quantities of drugs enter our country by boat each year. Drug smuggling is big business, often involving many people and a lot of money and equipment. Fortunately, such large-scale operations can be readily detected by those familiar with normal marine activity. The RCMP's Coastal Watch Program, in the fight against drug importation, wants to enlist the eyes of people in coastal communities. The program goal is two-fold: To teach people what to look for, and to help them effectively transmit any information to the appropriate law enforcement agency. If you are a recreational or professional boater, fuel dock attendant, or vessel broker, or if you live or work near the water, you can play a vital role in the Coastal Watch Program. By reporting suspicious or illegal activities, you can help cut the flow of illicit drugs to our youth and to the rest of the community. 1, record 17, English, - Coastal%20Watch%20Program
