As used herein, the term "control law" can refer to one or more mathematical formulae used by a control system to command, manage, direct, or regulate the behavior of another device, such as a robot. Control laws can be used singularly or [in] combination to produce a control signal based on another signal (e.g., positive feedback, negative feedback, etc.) and one or more control variables. The output of the control law is a signal that is passed to the robot to cause it to move based on the difference between desired values and actual values (e.g., sensor data). For example, a PID [proportional-integral-derivative] controller combines three control laws where one control variable scales the present value of the error, another control variable scales the integral of the error, and a third control variable scales the derivative of the error. These scaled terms can then be fed back to the system to change the signal. 1, record 11, English, - control%20law

3, record 40, French, - validation%20crois%C3%A9e%20%C3%A0%20k%20blocs

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) has established four series of grade numbers, based on viscosity. Two of these series, one defined at low temperature and running from SAE 0 W (minimum viscosity) to SAE 25 W (maximum viscosity) and the other defined at high temperature and running from SAE 20 to SAE 50, are applied to engine oils. The other two series are applied to gear oils and do not form continuous series with the engine oil series. It was noted that total recreational catches recorded in 1992 exceeded the total recreational quota by 13%. The discrepancy between the quota and the actual catch ranged from zero to 23% ... Attention was also drawn to the discrepancy between angling catch estimates by traditional methods and catches estimated by the bus route creel survey method on the Humber River in 1992. Catch estimates based on the creel survey suggest that catches were actually twice as high as reported. These results question the utility of traditional catch and effort statistics collection methods in quota monitoring and in evaluating the effect of the closure of the commercial fishery on recreational fisheries harvests. 2, record 45, English, - bus%2Droute%20creel%20survey%20method

1, record 95, French, - entra%C3%AEnement%20par%20accouplement%20glissant%20coaxial

A test for ligamentous instability of the knee performed by stabilizing the femur while placing a valgus stress on the knee by abducting the leg. A moderate joint line separation with the knee fully extended indicates a tear of the medial collateral ligament and the posterior capsule. If the test is only positive in 30 degrees of flexion, it represents an isolated medial collateral ligament tear. A marked medial joint line opening in extension is only possible when both cruciate ligaments are also torn. 3, record 97, English, - abduction%20test

1, record 97, French, - man%26oelig%3Buvre%20d%27abduction
