2, record 6, French, - graphique%20%C3%A0%20origine%20variable

Record number: 11, Textual support number: 1 CONT
equilibrium: state of balance. When a body or a system is in equilibrium, there is no net tendency to change. In mechanics, equilibrium has to do with the forces acting on a body. ... However, a state of equilibrium does not mean that no forces act on the body, but only that the forces are balanced. ... The stability of a body is a measure of its ability to return to a position of equilibrium after being disturbed. It depends on the shape of the body and the location of its center of gravity ... A body with a large flat base and a low center of gravity will be very stable, returning quickly to its position of equilibrium after being tipped. However, a body with a small base and high center of gravity will tend to topple if tipped and is thus less stable than the first body. A body balanced precariously on a point is in unstable equilibrium. Some bodies, such as a ball or a cone lying on its side, do not return to their original position of equilibrium when pushed, assuming instead a new position of equilibrium; these are said to be in neutral equilibrium. 1, record 11, English, - neutral%20equilibrium

Wet beneficiation systems process fines by several' types of unit operations, but usually must also incorporate costly and complex dewatering systems to reduce the moisture content of the products. Existing pneumatic preparation systems are constrained between product equality and yield by the sharpness of separation. These limitations become more severe with decreasing particle size and increasing feed moisture content. Control of particulate emissions, both process and fugitive, during pneumatic preparation, can be forbidding. A pneumatic preparation-process which would overcome these constraints, could be most enticing. The DryFlo system is being evaluated to quantify performance characteristics as regards these constraints. 1, record 12, English, - Dryflo%20separator

A torque motor (also known as a limited torque motor) is a specialized form of induction motor which is capable of operating indefinitely while stalled, that is, with the rotor blocked from turning, without incurring damage. In this mode of operation, the motor will apply a steady torque to the load (hence the name). 4, record 13, English, - torque%20motor

The outlook for patients with localized prostate cancer is brighter than ever, thanks to a procedure that combines the exactness of computer-assisted planning with the precision of ultrasound-guided technology. 1, record 26, French, - grain%20radioactif

A similar exercise could be done with feet spreading apart in a forward/backward or backward/forward axis and the hands clapping over the head after a rotation on a similar axis. 2, record 36, English, - side%2Dstraddle%20hop

Two new tracking functions, BeaconTrac and OBS-Trac, expand tracking capabilities of the new Bendix RDR-1400 digital colour weather radar, according to the company. (...) BeaconTrac generates an inbound course to a discrete beacon. This course line is generated from the beacon display and can be rotated 360 degrees around the beacon with the HSI (Horizontal Situation Indicator) course selector. BeaconTrac will operate up to 80 nmi (about 150 km). Using the HSI course selector to position the BeaconTrac line, the pilot can readily determine an intercept or approach path. Once on BeaconTrac and heading inbound, the RDR-1400 displays left/right deviation to the beacon. 1, record 38, English, - intercept%20path

1, record 38, French, - trajectoire%20d%27interception
