Patient debt capital is available through the Knowledge-Based Industries Loan Fund on terms tailored to the high-growth potential of this industry. The fund targets small and medium-sized businesses in Western Canada currently involved in new product research and development and market expansion. This fund is a cooperative venture between the Department of Western Economic Diversification Canada and the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).
