In computer science and artificial intelligence, ontology languages are formal languages used to construct ontologies. They allow the encoding of knowledge about specific domains and often include reasoning rules that support the processing of that knowledge. Ontology languages are usually declarative languages, are almost always generalizations of frame languages, and are commonly based on either first-order logic or on description logic. 3, record 1, English, - ontology%20language

An ontology language is a type of computer language used for specifying classes, properties, and restrictions in the context of information processing by applications. The latest ontology language in use is the Web Ontology Language (OWL). 4, record 1, English, - ontology%20language

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
3, record 1, French, - langage%20d%27ontologie
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT

1, record 29, French, - codage%20crois%C3%A9

Super Audio CD (SACD) is a technology for high resolution multi-channel digital audio recordings proposed by Sony and Philips. SACD albums must contain one layer with the "Direct Stream Digital" encoding format which requires a SACD capable player. "Direct Stream Digital" encoding will be able to provide a frequency response from DC to 100 kHz with a dynamic range of 120 dB. Multichannel SACD players have 6 outputs and can play 5.1 or 6 channel audio. SACD albums can optionally contain a second layer encoded with the CD-format (PCM at 44.1-kHz/16-bit) in stereo allowing compatibility with existing CD players. 1, record 32, English, - Direct%20Stream%20Digital%20encoding

DTS encoding technology is licensed to content creators for high-resolution, multichannel film and music soundtracks on DVD, multichannel music on Compact Disc, and multichannel audio for games on DVD-ROM. DTS Digital Surround is an encode/decode system that delivers six channels (5.1) of master-quality, 20-bit audio. In the encoding process, the DTS algorithm encrypts six channels of 20-bit digital audio information in the space previously allotted for only two channels of 16-bit linear PCM. Then during playback, the DTS decoder reconstructs the original six channels of 20-bit digital audio. 1, record 42, English, - DTS%20encoding

Refers to services offered in addition to the basic service package, in unscrambled form and on a discretionary basis, often using the "negative option" marketing technique - licensee delivers the basic service and discretionary tier(s) to subscriber's premise in non-encrypted form as a package deal, and the onus is on the subscriber to advise the licensee should he/she not wish to take the discretionary tier(s). Should the subscriber opt out of the discretionary tier(s), the licensee blocks (traps out) only the discretionary signals (usually located on 8 consecutive channels in the mid-band) to that household through a trapping device (a negative trap) located outside the subscriber's household, thus requiring a "truck roll". This encryption system is beneficial to a cable licensee only if there is a high penetration in discretionary service subscription. 2, record 44, English, - low%20cost%20tier

1, record 44, French, - service%20de%20base%20%C3%A9largi
