La franchise financière. Certaines franchises appellent de la part des franchisés des investissements lourds(hôtellerie par exemple). Ce type de franchise peut alors reposer sur le principe d’une dissociation entre le franchisé investisseur et le gestionnaire. C'est le cas, par exemple, de la franchise de restauration "Courte-paille" dans laquelle le franchisé financier est distinct du manager. Ce dernier est un salarié du franchiseur et non du franchisé investisseur qui est quand même présent sur le point de vente et s’occupe de la gestion générale de son affaire. Le franchisé reste le patron même si sa marge d’initiative est moins importante du fait de la présence du manager salarié du franchiseur. Le système fonctionne grâce à un équilibre entre les deux types de fonctions : le manager gère le point de vente comme un professionnel qu'il est. Le franchisé investisseur a un souci de rentabilité de ses investissements, se déchargeant des problèmes concrets de fonctionnement sur le manager. Cependant, en cas de conflit, le franchisé investisseur peut demander au franchiseur de remplacer le manager en place par un autre directeur salarié. 1, record 47, French, - franchise%20financi%C3%A8re
