While progress has been made in vaccinating children against preventable diseases, there remains a clear need for continuing to support childhood immunization worldwide. CIII [Canadian International Immunization Initiative] and the Global Alliance on Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) provide a complementary approach to immunization.
