Alphonse Beau de Rochas, a French engineer (1815-1893), ... created the ideal thermodynamic cycle of the 4-stroke engine (1862). Its cycle was implemented by Nicolaus Otto. Hence, the French use "cycle de Beau Rochas" but "Otto cycle" is more commonly used, especially in North America. 4, record 1, English, - four%2Dstroke%20cycle

1, record 2, French, - locomotive%20%C3%A0%20gazoline
