Streamer lines are long lines attached to a high point on the stern of a fishing boat so that they fall slowly to the surface of the water. On the 25 m or so of the lines, multiple "streamers" are attached: strands of often brightly coloured line attached on a swivel to the main line. These move in the wind and interfere with birds attempting to reach the baited longline below. 4, record 1, English, - streamer%20line

1, record 2, French, - banderole%20d%27effarouchement

Harmony is identified as the ultimate consequence of the workings of the 20 functions noted above. Diverse, pervasive, and persistent, harmonies in nature exist at all levels, which contribute to maintaining the whole. Some unique aspects or elements of the harmony function are: animal and plant form; the obvious grace of animal movement (swimming, flight, running); colours of birds, fish, butterflies, flowers, and the appearance of a unicellular algae under a microscope (Augros and Stancieu 1988, 130-155). 1, record 3, English, - harmony%20function
