Le terme anglais "battlefield memorial park" se rend plus exactement par «parc aménagé sur un champ de bataille». Cependant, cette expression tient davantage de la définition que du terme comme tel. Dans l’usage, on dira plutôt «parc commémoratif de guerre» et, si la guerre est nommée, «parc commémoratif de la Guerre-de-Xxxx», «parc commémoratif de la Bataille-de-Zzzz».
