La Forêt modèle de Prince Albert, qui couvre 367 000 hectares de forêt boréale, est située au nord de Prince Albert, en Saskatchewan. L'ouverture des forêts au public a conduit à préconiser trois types d’aménagement :parc forestier, forêt-promenade et forêt normale. Le parc forestier, installé en bordure de forêt, satisfait en priorité les besoins d’une fréquentation de voisinage.
