One must distinguish between the object of designation, the "Newfoundland Beaumont-Hamel Battlefield and Memorial" (since 1999), previously the "Beaumont-Hamel Battlefield and Memorial" (from 1996), and the administrative entity, the "Newfoundland Beaumont-Hamel Battlefield and Memorial National Historic Site of Canada," shortened to "Beaumont-Hamel National Historic Site of Canada." The generic "National Historic Site of Canada" is official since 2001. 1, record 24, English, - Newfoundland%20Beaumont%2DHamel%20Battlefield%20and%20Memorial

1, record 24, French, - parc%20et%20monument%20comm%C3%A9moratifs%20de%20Terre%2DNeuve%20%C3%A0%20Beaumont%2DHamel
