The name of flats meaning a plain, "Old Crow Plain (the previous designation) - Old Crow Flats (the actual toponym)", thus an uninhabited place; the specific in "Old Crow Flats Proposed National Park (Y.T.)", a proposed national park which became a national park managed by Parks Canada and is now designated "Vuntut National Park (Y.T.)". This entity was once called "Old Crow Plain" and was renamed "Old Crow Flats". It is nevertheless still a plain geographically.
