La psychothérapie gestaltiste des relations d’objet(PGRO) est une approche humaniste, expérientielle et relationnelle, intégrant la théorie psychodynamique des relations d’objet à la Gestalt thérapie. Cette approche, aussi nommée psychothérapie du lien, place la construction du lien, et les dilemmes et enjeux développementaux qui y sont reliés, au centre du développement de la personnalité et du processus thérapeutique. Le travail thérapeutique se centre sur les problématiques de la personnalité, et la façon d’être en lien, tant «ici et maintenant»(i. e. dans le processus thérapeutique) que dans le passé développemental et les impasses de la vie actuelle du client, dans le but de reconnaître et dénouer ces impasses et leurs conséquences.
