ATP functions as the major corner of chemical energy in the cells of all living species. En effet, seules les glycoprotéines porteuses du signal mannose-6-phosphate seront fermement fixées à un récepteur de la membrane golgienne et leur maturation vers une structure N-acétyl-lactosaminique sera bloquée. 3, record 38, French, - hydrolase

Some enzymes may exist in two forms of different activity which are interconvertible. Frequently, the mechanism of interconversion consists of phosphorylation .... One of the best known cases is glycogen phosphorylase, the enzyme that degrades glycogen into its glucose units, and which exists in two forms: a and b. Phosphorylase a is a tetrameric protein having the higher activity; phosphorylase b is a less active dimer. The b form can be converted into the a form by the convalent binding of four phosphate groups. 3, record 45, English, - phosphorylase

Air-purifying respirators clean contaminated air before it is inhaled by passing the air through a cleansing media such as a mechanical filter, cartridge or filter/cartridge combination. The air is passed through the cleansing media by breathing or by a blower. These latter are called powered air-purifying respirators. Mechanical filter respirators are used for protection against airborne particulate matter such as dusts, mists, fumes, smoke, etc. Cartridge respirators are used for protection against gases and vapours. These respirators rely on the use of activated charcoal or chemical-treated sorbents to remove the gases and/or vapours. Where both particulate and gaseous contaminants co-exist, a combination of a chemical cartridge and mechanical filter is required. 3, record 73, English, - combination%20respirator
