"The Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy (OSB) and the Canadian Insolvency Practitioners' Association (CIPA) today (15 September 1997) announced an agreement to establish a one-stream licensing process through his new NIQP program - a national training program to qualify trustees. The agreement makes the NIQP the official qualifications process for those applying to become a licensed bankruptcy trustee. It establishes the NIQP as the national admissions office for all individuals wanting to enter the program".
