The Canadian Positioning, Navigation and Timing Board (PNTB) is made up of subject matter experts and executives from the Government of Canada and Canada's air navigation service provider who have a shared interest in satellite-based positioning, navigation and timing. The PNTB was established in 2011 to serve as a central point of contact for the coordination of civilian (non-military/defence) positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) issues at the federal level. Le Conseil du positionnement, de la navigation et de la synchronisation(CPNS) du Canada est composé d’experts en la matière, de cadres du gouvernement du Canada et du fournisseur de services de navigation aérienne du Canada, qui partagent un intérêt commun pour le positionnement, la navigation et la synchronisation par satellite. Le CPNS a été mis sur pied en 2011 afin de servir de point de contact central pour la coordination des questions de nature civile(non liées aux domaines militaires et de la défense) en matière de positionnement, de navigation et de synchronisation(PNS) à l'échelle fédérale.
