Master the Overhead Squat. ... If you do it right, the overhead squat is an effective movement for your legs, hips, shoulders, even your abs [abdominal muscles]. ...When trying to perform an overhead squat, a lot of people either shift their weight too far forward onto their toes or back onto their heels, among other mistakes. You want to aim to keep your weight balanced over the middle of your arches, with your arms over your feet. Begin in a standing position, holding a dowel overhead with your arms straight and your feet about shoulder-width apart. Initiate the movement with your hips, squatting back and down until the tops of your thighs are at least parallel to the floor. As you go, think about pulling the dowel apart with your hands. Detergent solubilization has been used with great success to study the major proteins in various membranes. Typically, the membranes are first heated to 100°C in a 1% solution of the strong detergent SDS (which disrupts all non-covalent protein-protein and protein-lipid interactions and completely unfolds the proteins), then layered on top of a polyacrylamide gel containing SDS, and lastly subjected to electrophoresis in a strong electric field for several hours. The amount of anionic SDS bound to protein is roughly equal to the mass of the polypeptide, with the result that the negative charge of the detergent overwhelms the intrinsic charge of the protein. Consequently, each individual protein migrates in the electric field at a rate determined by its molecular weight. 4, record 34, English, - sodium%20dodecyl%20sulphate

3, record 60, French, - contribuable

The Italian Space Agency (ASI) - built Leonardo Multipurpose Logistics Module is the first of three such pressurized modules that will serve as the International Space Station's "moving vans", carrying laboratory racks filled with equipment, experiments and supplies to and from the station aboard the Space Shuttle. The unpiloted, reusable logistics modules function as both a cargo carrier and a space station module when they are flown. Mounted in the Space Shuttle's cargo bay for launch and landing, they are berthed to the station using the Shuttle's robotic arm after the Shuttle has docked. While berthed to the station, racks of equipment are unloaded from the module and then old racks and equipment may be reloaded to be taken back to Earth. The logistics module is then detached from the station and positioned back into the Shuttle's cargo bay for the trip home. 10, record 69, English, - Leonardo%20multipurpose%20logistic%20module

In 1986 a civilian interorbital tug was studied to solve the specific application of transporting heavy satellites of 100 tonnes to geostationary orbit, launched by Energia. All of these designs seem to have been essentially similar; the figures given here are for the last study. The tug would have a propellant supply adequate for 16,000 hours of operation and three years of reactor life. 3, record 70, English, - interorbital%20tug

1, record 98, French, - abaissement%20brusque%20du%20plan%20d%27eau

A longwall cutter-loader of the plough type, with two cutting blades, one at each end, operated by a hydraulic cylinder which can give a powerful thrust (about 42 tons) to the blades and cause them to bite into the coal. While this thrust is being exerted, the machine is anchored by means of a vertical jack which engages the roof and floor. The jack is built on sliding bars and the machine is moved by sliding the jack along the bars to the next position for anchoring the machine. It travels alongside the conveyor but is not connected to it. A loading ramp guides the cut coal on to the conveyor. The machine is employed in seams from 4 to 5 ft thick with a strong roof and floor. 2, record 100, English, - Samson%20stripper

1, record 100, French, - rabot%20automoteur%20Samson
