... a shield that evaporates when heated, thereby absorbing thermal energy and protecting the underlying structure from heat damage. 5, record 1, English, - ablative%20shield
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The heat shield is one of the most critical elements of the Orion spacecraft, protecting Orion and the astronauts as they enter Earth's atmosphere ... Measuring 16.5 feet in diameter, it's the largest ablative heat shield in the world. The outer surface is made of blocks of an ablative material called Avcoat, a reformulated version of the material used on the Apollo capsules. During descent, the Avcoat ablates, or burns off in a controlled fashion, transporting heat away from Orion. 6, record 1, English, - ablative%20shield
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT
To protect the Apollo command module from the extreme heat of reentry, NASA chose an ablative heat shield composed of a brazed steel honeycomb substructure, a fiberglass honeycomb shell filled with phenolic epoxy resin. 7, record 1, English, - ablative%20shield

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
2, record 1, French, - bouclier%20ablatif
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 OBS

2, record 2, French, - grammage

Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS
snug (adjective): At rest, warmly cove red, and safe from cold. 4, record 3, English, - sleeping%20bag
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 2 OBS
"Snug bag" refers to the comfort and the warmth of a bag and thus could be used, in writing, to convey feelings. "Sack" could be used to refer to a "bed", but would be the appropriate synonym of "hammock" and "bunk", temporary substitute-type beds. "Bedroll", a "bedding often of blankets only that is rolled up for ready carrying", (WEBIN, 1981,,,196), is not a synonym of "sleeping bag", even if a sleeping could be rolled for easy carrying. 3, record 3, English, - sleeping%20bag

4, record 3, French, - sac%20de%20couchage
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 CONT
5, record 3, French, - sac%20de%20couchage
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS
