1, record 2, French, - amplification%20de%20la%20lumi%C3%A8re%20par%20%C3%A9mission%20stimul%C3%A9e%20de%20radiations

The lasing phenomenon is made possible by a process called the stimulated emission of radiation. This occurs when a photon interacts with an excited atom, causing it to drop down to a lower energy level. The photon given off by the atom then has the same phase, direction, and polarization as the initial photon. By repeating this process many times, one can produce a highly coherent beam of light. 3, record 10, English, - lasing%20phenomenon

[...] Les pyromètres optiques sont de trois types. 1. Le pyromètre monochromatique à disparition de filament. [...] 2. Le pyromètre monochromatique photo-électrique. [...] 3. Le pyromètre à radiation totale. 2, record 11, French, - pyrom%C3%A8tre%20optique
