Internal jugular vein. The IJV is the main venous structure in the neck. It originates as a continuation of the S-shaped sigmoid (dural venous) sinus. As it descends in the neck, it is contained in the carotid sheath. It terminates at the T1 vertebral level, superior to the sternoclavicular joint, by uniting with the subclavian vein to form the brachiocephalic vein. Tidal energy can be converted to mechanical and subsequently electrical form in several ways. The most common is to utilize a single natural basin that experiences tidal flow. The mouth of the basin is blocked by a dam that contains sluice gates and hydroelectric turbogenerators. In operation, water enters the basin through open sluice gates. At high tide the gates are closed. When the tide ebbs sufficiently water is released through the hydroturbines to generate electricity. 1, record 37, English, - tidal%20energy

Amine Sweetening Process... Rich amine is heated by hot regenerated lean amine in the heat exchanger. Rich amine is then further heated in the regeneration still column, by heat supplied from the reboiler. The steam rising through the still liberates H2S and CO2 and therefore regenerates the amine. Steam and acid gases separated from the rich amine are condensed and cooled, respectively, in the reflux condenser. Condensed steam is separated in the reflux accumulator and returned to the still. If particle definition and capacity are of major concerns, consider Wolfking's CFD Constant Flow Device. This unit can be mounted on any of Wolfking's 250 mm -series fresh meat grinders as an optional add-on. The CFD is a positive displacement vane pump, which fits between the grinder auger and the knife-set. It eliminates material backwash in the auger, thereby vastly improving product quality, whilst also boosting capacity up to 300 kg per minute through a 3.2 mm holeplate. 2, record 44, English, - constant%20flow%20device

The pediatric nephrologist has traditionally not been involved in the care of the diabetic child since diabetic nephropathy presents in adulthood. Recent studies suggest that diabetic kidney disease develops silently during childhood. Measurement of urinary albumin excretion (UAE) allows earlier detection of patients at risk of nephropathy, often in adolescence. In addition to diabetic nephropathy, diabetic children are at risk of urinary tract infections, renal papillary necrosis, and various forms of glomerulonephritis. The role of the pediatric nephrologist in the care of the child with diabetes might include advising on the administration and interpretation of screening for UAE and the measurement and interpretation of glomerular filtration rate, and blood pressure. Children with evidence of renal dysfunction should be evaluated and treated by the pediatric nephrologist. Frequently, renal biopsy will be necessary in these patients. Future research may allow the detection of diabetic kidney disease earlier in childhood, further expanding the role of the pediatric nephrologist. In particular, early renal biopsy may eventually be used to select those patients at risk of diabetic nephropathy for specific treatment alterations. 2, record 62, English, - pediatric%20nephrologist

1, record 62, French, - p%C3%A9don%C3%A9phrologue

At the point of transition from the cylindrical, to the conical section, the sediment is subjected to back-pressure which becomes weaker as the angle of the bowl reduces. À la transition de la partie cylindrique vers la partie conique, le sédiment est soumis à une forme de reflux d’autant plus faible que l'angle du bol l'est.
