The Nuclear Emergency Preparedness and Response Division (NEPRD) is a division of Health Canada's Radiation Protection Bureau (RPB). The Division discharges Health Canada's responsibilities as the lead department for coordination of federal preparedness and response to a nuclear or radiological emergency, defined as the uncontrolled release of radioactive materials from any source.
