Appareil permettant aux golfeurs(les plus mordus!) de s’exercer à l'intérieur durant la saison morte. Sur une base fixe de bois reproduisant le tertre de départ avec té, on frappe la balle à l'aide d’un bois ou d’un fer, cette dernière étant captée dans un filet de mailles fines. Électroniquement sont alors mesurées et la vitesse de la balle et la distance qu'elle aurait couverte sur un terrain de golf. Les appareils plus sophistiqués ajouteront des précisions quant à la trajectoire de la balle et la distance qu'elle couvrira après son premier contact avec le sol, compte tenu de l'état du parcours(sec, détrempé, gazon ras, etc.).
