Scie à monture de bois, de dimension moyenne, à lame fixe, réservée au sciage droit de débit premier à travers les fibres du bois. La scie à bûches est une scie à monture de grande dimension(60 à 90 cm) ;elle diffère cependant des autres scies montées en ce que l'un des bras est plus long que l'autre, et tient lieu de poignée.
