taxie : Le sens de ce terme (créé par A. Kühn) a été précisé par N. Tinbergen (1951), qui sépare la notion de taxie au sens strict de celle de mouvement instinctif. Son sens se restreint ainsi à celui de mouvement individuel d’orientation vers une direction déterminée : lorsqu’une grenouille capture une proie, son mouvement se décompose en une rotation du corps vers la proie (orientation) et une projection de la langue (capture) qui est le véritable mouvement instinctif. La plupart des activités dites instinctives combinent mouvement instinctif et composante taxique sans qu’il soit toujours facile de dissocier l’un de l’autre. 4, record 1, French, - taxie
