The fragic horizon does not meet the criteria of a podzolic B horizon but may meet those of a Bt (Btx) horizon. 1, record 39, English, - fragic

Ecological integrity is defined as a state of ecosystem development that is optimized for its geographic location. For parks and protected areas, this optimal state has been referred to by such terms as natural, naturally evolving, pristine and untouched. It implies that ecosystem structures and functions are unimpaired by human-caused stresses, that native species are present at viable population levels and, within successional limits, that the system is likely to persist. Ecosystems with integrity do not exhibit the trends associated with stressed ecosystems. Parks and protected areas are part of larger ecosystems and determinations of integrity in national parks must consider these larger ecosystems. 3, record 48, English, - ecological%20integrity

Record number: 50, Textual support number: 2 CONT
The dynamic amplification factor (DAF) is an important parameter in the design of highway bridges and yet no worldwide consensus has been reached so far as to its value. Some disagreement exists between provisions of various national bridge codes. This is because the DAF depends, in addition to the maximum span or the natural frequency, on many other parameters that are difficult to take into account with reasonable accuracy. Vehicle speed, weight, and dynamic characteristics, the state of the structure, roadway roughness, expansion joints, the type of bridge supports, soil-structure interaction, and influence of secondary elements are some aspects influencing the DAF. This study reviews the analytical and experimental findings on bridge dynamics and the evaluation of the DAF. 3, record 50, English, - dynamic%20amplification%20factor

The state of macroscopic systems can be identified by a small number of parameters (volume, number of particles,...) entering thermodynamic functions (energy, entropy,...)....This extremum property can be understood as the result of a competition between the organization induced by mechanical interactions (the energy term) and the disorder originating from the degeneracy between macroscopic states with the same energy (the entropy term). The structure of the equilibrium state is then controlled by the temperature and can be characterized by uniform macroscopic parameters, whereas the ultimate fate of fluctuations around this state amounts to an exponential relaxation well described by the linear theory of irreversible processes. 2, record 57, English, - equilibrium%20state

2, record 89, French, - angle%20des%20microfibrilles

In a more qualitative fashion a transition state is sometimes described as an early transition state (reactant-like) or as a late transition state (product-like). The clearest application of the use of these terms is linked to the Hammond principle. The energy of an early transition state of an elementary reaction is close to that of the initial state, and only a small reorganization of moleculr structure occurs between these two states. A late transition state, having an energy close to that of the final state, will require little reorganization of molecular structure between the transition state and the final state. 1, record 90, English, - late%20transition%20state

1, record 98, French, - antiaromatique
