Also located in the utilities building are the air compressors and dryers that supply 0.71 m³/s (1000SCFM) of dry air at 689 kg/m² (100 PSIG) for general plant usage and instrumentation. 2, record 1, English, - dry%20air

Drying of gases: The removal of 95-100% of the water vapor in air or other gases is frequently necessary. Gases having a dew point of -40°F are considered commercially dry. The more important reasons for the removal of water vapor from air are: (1) comfort, as in air conditioning; (2) control of the humidity of manufacturing atmospheres; (3) protection of electrical equipment against corrosion, short circuits, and electrostatic discharges; (4) requirement of dry air for the use in chemical processes where moisture present in air adversely affects the economy of the process; (5) prevention of water absorption in pneumatic conveying; and (6) as a prerequisite to liquifaction. 3, record 1, English, - dry%20air

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
2, record 1, French, - air%20sec

The rate of change of temperature with height in a rising air parcel when, under the most simplified conditions, the condensate (assumed to be water) immediately precipitates out. 1, record 2, English, - pseudo%2Dadiabatic%20lapse%20rate
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The pseudoadiabatic lapse rate is so close to the moist adiabatic lapse rate that meteorologists tend to ignore this difference and often refer to them synonymously. In fact, on adiabatic charts (or pseudoadiabatic charts), the moist adiabatic lapse rate lines are referred to interchangeably as moist, saturated, or pseudoadiabatic. 4, record 2, English, - pseudo%2Dadiabatic%20lapse%20rate
