The total mortality rate estimated from the lengths in the scientific surveys, the number of fishing days of a fleet per season, the percentage of immature individuals as well as the amount of gear per fishing area are indicators of fishing pressure on a population. For example, a mean total mortality rate estimated during a period when fishing would not have had an impact on the health of the population can serve as a target reference point. Recommendations aimed at reducing the level of withdrawal can then be issued when this target reference is exceeded. 2, record 5, English, - fishing%20pressure

Although the average effective interest rate on the federal debt is expected to decline over the 1992-93 to 1995-96 period, its impact on public debt charges is offset by the higher borrowing requirements. The decline in the average effective interest rate is due to the term structure of the outstanding debt. About half of the debt is of a short-term nature and rolled-over within a year. The remaining debt has an average term structure of about four-and-a-half years. The average effective interest rate, therefore, should continue to decline as the longer-term debt matures and is re-issued at the current lower interest rates. 1, record 24, English, - roll%2Dover

1, record 24, French, - refinancer

How might buserelin acetate treat androgenetic alopecia. Buserelin acetate is the generic name for the commercial brand name Suprefact. It comes in two forms as an intranasal spray: 100 mcg/spray (100 sprays/bottle), or depot for skin (subcutaneous) injection: 1 mg/mL (multidose vial). Buserelin acetate is a synthetic drug that has the equivalent properties of natural gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH/LHRH) that we all produce in our bodies. [It] promotes follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) release 20 to 170 times greater than observed with LHRH. Long term use of buserelin acetate suppresses production of steroid hormones and gonadotrophin. Consequently, there is a reduction in steroid hormone levels such as testosterone in the blood. 2, record 30, English, - buserelin%20acetate

Cost-effective open-plan environments (COPE) - a new research initiative. Many organizations believe that reducing office space is a great way to save money. But putting more people in the same area can lead to poorer indoor air quality, lower lighting levels, higher noise levels and increased fire hazards. These negative impacts can result in lower levels of employee satisfaction, more absenteeism, decreased productivity, and higher costs. IRC [Institut de recherche en construction) aims to fill that gap with a new research initiative - COPE. The multidisciplinary COPE team will conduct innovative research using sophisticated computer models, laboratory facilities and field studies. The results of this research will be combined with existing knowledge to evaluate: the effect of occupant density, office landscape and base building characteristics on the indoor environment and fire risk; the effect of the indoor environment (including both physical and psychological components) on occupant satisfaction; the performance and cost-benefit of a variety of measures to improve the indoor environment. 1, record 37, English, - Cost%2Deffective%20open%2Dplan%20environments
