The sun is in a hot cycle or trend at present so it appears to be having an impact on warming. Volcanic dust and gases have been postulated to cool equatorial waters in the past reducing the north-south sea temperature gradient thereby stopping ocean transport of heat and oxygen leading to a sinking of warm water and a disasterous methane degassing. 1, record 4, English, - methane%20degassing

2, record 5, French, - hydrogaz%C3%A9ification
