The strategy of extreme weight trimming should be improved. The weight distribution may include some extreme values that should be trimmed before the actual computation of the estimates. Weight trimming will generally increase the potential for a bias in the estimate while artificially decreasing the sampling variance. 2, record 1, English, - extreme%20weight%20trimming

The stored bits correspond to the last branches of the most likely data sequence estimations called survivor paths. It has been shown that when the survivor paths are traced backwards, they rapidly converge to a unique path which represents the most likely estimation of the message. The length L of the diverging part of the paths, called the truncation length, is programmable: it should be set to 32 for the 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 rate codes, and to 64 for the 3/4 rate code. 1, record 4, English, - truncation%20length

4, record 12, French, - erreur%20d%27arrondi

The stored bits correspond to the last branches of the most likely data sequence estimations called survivor paths. It has been shown that when the survivor paths are traced backwards, they rapidly converge to a unique path which represents the most likely estimation of the message. The length L of the diverging part of the paths, called the truncation length, is programmable: it should be set to 32 for the 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 rate codes, and to 64 for the 3/4 rate code. 1, record 18, English, - survivor%20path

The complete designation of an ISO metric thread includes the basic designation [the letter M followed by the nominal size in millimeters and the pitch] followed by the specification for tolerance class. The tolerance class designation includes the symbol for the pitch-diameter tolerance followed by the symbol for the crest-diameter tolerance. Each of these symbols consists of a number indicating the tolerance grade followed by a letter indicating the tolerance position. A dash separates the tolerance-class designation from the basic designation. When the pitch-diameter and crest-diameter tolerance symbols are identical, the symbol is given only once. ...(Example:] M6 X 1 - 5g 6g. 1, record 28, English, - pitch%2Ddiameter%20tolerance
