A small-size single-portion container that is used in restaurants or on trains and planes, which contains cream, jellies, butter, syrups, etc., and whose closure can be effected by a heat-seal film or foil lid.

OBS

The term "portion-control cup" has been suggested from the model of "portion-control container" found in Packaging (1990) vol. 33 no 5, p. 97, which is actually a preformed polystyrene cup available in sizes from 0.25 to 1.25 ounces.
