The Association of Official Seed Certifying Agencies (AOSCA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1919 [as the International Crop Improvement Association] in an effort to establish credible standards for the production of high-quality seed. Today, AOSCA has member agencies across the U.S. [United States] as well as seven member countries including Canada, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

The Canadian Sport Parachuting Association (CSPA), through affiliation with the Aero Club of Canada (ACC), is Canada's representative to the Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI), and is thereby the official sport organization for sport parachuting in Canada. Incorporated in 1956, CSPA promotes safe, enjoyable sport parachuting through cooperation and adherence to our self-imposed rules and recommendations. CSPA is run by its members and member groups, joined together, voluntarily, for our mutual benefit.

The aim of the CSPA [Canadian Sport Parachuting Association] rigging program is to have a core group of dedicated individuals who have the knowledge, experience and personal integrity to act as parachute technicians within our sport, keeping the average skydiver's equipment safe and functional. Rigger certification requires, on the part of all candidates, an exhibited personal commitment to maintain a level of expertise and currency. This currency would include performing parachute-rigging activities for at least thirty (30) days within the previous 12 months or by demonstrating to the T&SC [Technical & Safety Committee] the ability to perform related rigging tasks.
