1, record 1, French, - robot%20m%C3%A9dical

Criteria for Brain Death. The criteria for the determination of brain death were developed such that any physician in any milieu could confidently diagnose it. All criteria must be met before a diagnosis of brain death can be made: The patient must be unconscious. The patient must be unable to breathe spontaneously and would therefore be on a ventilator. There must be no response to external stimuli (verbal, pain). There must be no response (eye movement) to passive head movements or to ice water syringed into the ears. There must be no blinking in response to touching the cornea. There must be no pupil response to a bright light shone into the eyes. The patient must be unable to maintain blood pressure, control fluids and electrolytes or body temperature. 4, record 11, English, - criteria%20for%20brain%20death

2, record 11, French, - crit%C3%A8res%20de%20la%20mort%20c%C3%A9r%C3%A9brale

The three basic techniques for skin testing are scratch, prick, and intradermal. ... our technique is to screen for high-grade reactivity with prick testing ... as follows. After the skin is cleansed with isopropyl alcohol, prick tests are applied to the forearms. A 26-gauge needle is used to make the skin prick. The tip of the needle is advanced into the epidermis so that the skin is tested when the needle is lifted vertically. Blood should not be drawn during the procedure. The allergen is then dropped on the site of the prick. 1, record 24, English, - prick%20test
