Arthrite post-traumatique.

Osteoarthritis is a form of non-inflammatory arthritis, which is caused by the breakdown of cartilage, which covers and protects bones. Often due to "wear and tear", pain and swelling can occur when the cartilage breaks down. Eventually, the cartilage may wear away entirely and bones will rub together. 7, record 30, English, - osteoarthritis

5, record 30, French, - arthrose

Research tells us that regular physical exercise helps to improve both our body and our mind. This September, The Arthritis Society's Joints in Motion Program will be making history as they team up with the Royal Canadian Legion to participate in the In Flanders Fields Marathon. The marathon, which also is known as the Marathon of Peace, will take runners and walkers through the Belgium battlefields of the First World War. The timing is particularly appropriate, given that November 11 will mark the 85th anniversary of the end of the Great War. Traditionally, Joints in Motion participants run in honour of an "arthritis hero." For this event, participants also can choose to run in honour of a veteran. 1, record 33, English, - In%20Flanders%20Fields%20Marathon

2, record 41, French, - syndrome%20Reiter

Common acute or chronic inflammation of the joint capsule of the carpus and the associated structures in horses. 5, record 44, English, - carpitis
Record number: 44, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Some confusion exists regarding the terms carpitis and osselets; therefore, a definition is appropriate. Carpitis is an acute or chronic inflammation of the carpal joint that may involve the fibrous joint capsule, synovial membrane, associated ligaments, and bones of the carpus ... Osselets has been defined as a traumatic arthritis of the metacarpophalangeal joint. It is more appropriate to restrict the term osselets to describe the thickening associated with synovitis and capsulitis of the fibrous joint capsule at the dorsal aspect of the metacarpophalangeal joint. Ossification can develop as a chronic change. 6, record 44, English, - carpitis

The acute form is common in Thoroughbreds in training. Carpitis is usually attributed to concussion from hard training, especially in immature and unfit horses. Injury to the dorsal aspect of the carpus is a common cause, especially in hunters and jumpers. 9, record 44, English, - carpitis

Some confusion exists regarding the terms carpitis and osselets; therefore, a definition is appropriate. Carpitis is an acute or chronic inflammation of the carpal joint that may involve the fibrous joint capsule synovial membrane, associated ligaments, and bones of the carpus ... Osselets has been defined as a traumatic arthritis of the metacarpophalangeal joint. It is more appropriate to restrict the term osselets to describe the thickening associated with synovitis and capulitis of the fibrous joint capsule at the dorsal aspect of the metacarpophalangeal joint. Ossification can develop as a chronic change. 3, record 67, English, - osselets
