Stall. Occurs when the wings are no longer capable of producing sufficient lift to counteract the effect of gravity on the aircraft’s mass. Symptoms of an Approaching Stall: - loss of horizon; - reduced wind noise; - dropping of indicated airspeed; - slack controls, and; - buffeting (vibrations, may be absent during flight in precipitation). 3, record 1, English, - slack%20control

2, record 1, French, - commande%20molle

A method of bombing where an aircraft flies on a line towards the target, pulls up in a vertical plane, releasing the bomb at an angle that will compensate for the effect of gravity drop on the bomb. Similar to loft bombing; unrestricted as to altitude. 2, record 2, English, - toss%20bombing

The basic elements of much of the new technology can already be seen in operation. They include intelligent flight control in which, for example, simple stall warning devices and stick pushers are replaced by a flight control sub-system which positively controls angle of attack, applies engine power to maintain height or flight speed, and actively maintains the aircraft in the correct altitude for optimum performance if a full nose-up demand is maintained for a protracted period. 1, record 4, English, - intelligent%20flight%20control

1, record 4, French, - commandes%20de%20vol%20intelligentes
