Agent-based modeling differs from traditional, regression-based methods in that, like systems dynamics modeling, it allows for the exploration of complex systems that display non-independence of individuals and feedback loops in causal mechanisms. It is not limited to observed data and can be used to model the counterfactual or experiments that may be impossible or unethical to conduct in the real world. However, agent-based modeling is not without its limitations. The data parameters (such as the reproductive rate for infectious diseases) are often difficult to find in the literature. In addition, the validity of the model can be difficult to assess, particularly when modeling unobserved associations. 5, record 6, English, - agent%2Dbased%20modelling

2, record 26, French, - interventionnisme

... is a $10 million private sector fundraising campaign to provide the World Wildlife Fund with extra muscle and better tools to make real gains in the conservation of Canada's natural heritage. One hundred percent of the funds raised will be spent directly on conservation programs to accomplish very ambitious year 2000 goals. This critical financial support will enable World Wildlife Fund to save endangered ecological areas, implement recovery plans for Canadian endangered species, and make progress in reducing toxic pollution of our air and water. The symbol of The Nature of Tomorrow Campaign is a vibrant flower and child's hand, underlining the fact that our children's future depends upon the actions and decisions we take today. Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is a nonprofit organization recognized by the Government of Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee as the national governing body for the sport of rowing in Canada. RCA was originally founded as "The Canadian Association of Amateur Oarsmen" in 1880 by the rowing clubs then in existence - to coordinate and regulate the sport of amateur rowing. In 1974 the name was changed to "The Canadian Amateur Rowing Association - Association Canadienne d'Aviron Amateur", which is still the legally constituted name, although Rowing Canada Aviron is now used as the operating name.

1, record 89, French, - Centre%20de%20Recherche%20Economique%20et%20Sociale%20et%20de%20Formation%20de%20Maastricht%20pour%20l%26rsquo%3BInnovation%20et%20la%20Technologie%20de%20l%26rsquo%3BUniversit%C3%A9%20des%20Nations%20Unies

1, record 90, French, - formation%20en%20%C3%A9quipe
