OBS

The Canadian Aeronautical Charting (CANAC) Database is the primary data source upon which Aeronautical and Technical Services (ATS) charts and publications are based. Data is collected in concert with NAV CANADA, Transport Canada, and the Department of National Defence and includes information concerning radio navigation aids and communication stations, obstructions, airways, as well as public and private aerodromes. The information is verified following a rigorous validation process, by each of the ATS production teams, before being certified for entry into the CANAC Database.

La Base de données canadienne de cartographie aéronautique(CANAC) constitue la principale source de données sur laquelle sont basées les cartes et les publications des Services aéronautiques et techniques(SAT). Les données sont recueillies de concert avec NAV CANADA, Transports Canada et le ministère de la Défense nationale; elles englobent l'information concernant les aides à la radionavigation, les stations de communication, les obstacles, les voies aériennes et les aérodromes publics et privés. L'information est vérifiée conformément à un rigoureux processus de validation par chacune des équipes de production des SAT avant d’être certifiée pour l'introduction dans la base de données CANAC.
