Flottement et divergence statique. Lorsqu'une pale(articulée ou encastrée) est animée d’un mouvement de battement, elle est soumise à des efforts inertiels qui s’appliquent le long de l'axe massique(lieu des centres de gravité). Parallèlement, la pale est soumise à des efforts aérodynamiques qui s’appliquent le long de l'axe aérodynamique(lieu des foyers) […] La divergence statique se rencontre dans les conditions suivantes : la rigidité en torsion de la pale est très faible et la pale est centrée arrière(axe massique situé nettement en arrière de l'axe élastique). Lorsque la pale est déformée en battement, l'effort centrifuge génère un moment de torsion qui est suffisant, en raison de la faible rigidité en torsion, pour provoquer une augmentation significative de l'angle d’incidence, pouvant amener le décrochage de la pale. Ce type d’oscillation peut se rencontrer par exemple dans le cas de rupture de la commande de pas d’une machine à pas variable dont les pales sont centrées arrière. Au cours d’un tour du rotor, la pale qui est alors «folle» autour de l'axe de pas(raideur nulle en torsion) décroche et sort du décrochage à la fréquence de rotation de l'éolienne. 1, record 1, French, - divergence%20statique
