In 1989, a small group of people with fibromyalgia, who had been meeting on a regular basis, formally organized and created the Fibromyalgia Association of British Columbia. Since that time, we have grown and expanded and currently have a membership of over 800 people throughout the world. The British Columbia Forest Service is the steward of the timber, range and recreation resources of British Columbia's unreserved public (Crown) forest land, which covers two-thirds of the province (about 59 million hectares).
