Procédé à la gomme bichromatée. Il s’agit d’une simplification du procédé au charbon qui se base sur le fait que la gomme arabique en présence de bichromate de potassium modifie son hydrosolubilité au contact de la lumière. La gomme arabique à laquelle est mélangé un pigment est appliquée sur une feuille de papier qui est ensuite lavée, séchée, placée sous un négatif et exposée à la lumière.
