À ses débuts, l'industrie brassicole se résume à de petites brasseries indépendantes disséminées ça et là dans tout le pays. Grâce à l'avènement des systèmes de distribution modernes, des progrès technologiques en matière de contrôle de la qualité et à la hausse des coûts, la production se centralise, et la plupart des brasseries locales disparaissent. Au cours des années 80, des brasseries de petite envergure, communément appelées microbrasseries, voient le jour au Canada et desservent les marchés locaux et régionaux. Aujourd’hui, deux compagnies nationales se partagent le secteur brassicole du Canada, soit la brasserie John Labatt Ltée(8 usines) et les compagnies Molson Limitée(8 usines).

Then an exclusive process gently removes them leading to a brilliant amber liquid ... the beer is continuously deep chill to -4° C, well below typical brewing cold temperatures.
