The technology used for the realization of the offshore cages makes the best use of the typical characteristics of a traditional floating cage (ease of access and management during the rearing cycle) with the safety in terms of resistance to swell, obtained with a fully submerged cage. The result is therefore a cage capable of operating on the surface or in depth according to the requirements of the breeder. 2, record 1, English, - offshore%20cage

There is some confusion concerning the terms "cage culture" and "pen culture" in fish farming. ... Both cage and pen culture are types of enclosure culture, and involve holding organisms captive within an enclosed space whilst maintaining a free exchange of water. The two methods, however, are distinct from one another. A cage is totally enclosed on all, or all but the top, sides by mesh or netting, whereas in pen culture the bottom of the enclosure is formed by the lake or sea bottom ... 4, record 4, English, - cage%20culture

3, record 4, French, - %C3%A9levage%20en%20cage

Gas Hydrate is an ice-like crystalline solid formed from a mixture of water and natural gas, usually methane. They occur in the pore spaces of sediments, and may form cements, nodes or layers. ... Gas Hydrate is found in sub-oceanic sediments in the polar regions (shallow water) and in continental slope sediments (deep water), where pressure and temperature conditions combine to make it stable. ... Natural Gas Hydrate contains highly concentrated methane, which is important both as an energy resource and as a factor in global climate change. 2, record 6, English, - gas%20hydrate

2, record 6, French, - hydrate%20de%20gaz
