A same designation could refer to a geographic or a geologic entity, sometimes with a slight variant in spelling or writing. It is important to distinguish one from the other and write each correctly according to the given context. 3, record 4, English, - Kwataboahegan%20formation
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 2 OBS
The Middle Devonian Kwataboahegan, Moose River, Murray Island, and Williams Island Formations have a combined thickness of about 700 feet and are composed predominantly of marine limestones with minor shale and evaporites. Although these formations are well developed in Moose River Basin, only the Kwataboahegan is present on the mainland part of Hudson Bay Basin. A more complete Middle Devonian sequence is presumably present offshore, beneath Hudson Bay. The Kwataboahegan Formation disconformably succeeds the Stooping River. It consist of tan and light to dark chocolate brown, bituminous, coral limestone. 2, record 4, English, - Kwataboahegan%20formation

Record number: 4, Textual support number: 3 OBS
3, record 4, French, - formation%20de%20Kwataboahegan
