The Conseil pour le développement de l'agriculture du Québec (CDAQ) was created in 1996 following an agreement between the Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA) and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC). Its mission consists in promoting the adaptation and development of agriculture throughout Quebec by emphasizing community empowerment.
