Unilingual persons may also apply. They must however indicate willingness to undertake continuous language training at public expense for a period of up to twelve (12) months. Such training shall be taken immediately at the time of conditional appointment, in or through the Public Service Commission's Language Bureau and at locations specified by the Public Service Commission.

Ce concours est aussi ouvert aux unilingues. Ils doivent cependant consentir par écrit à entreprendre, aux frais de l'État, immédiatement après leur nomination conditionnelle, et à plein temps, un cours de langue dispensé par le Bureau des langues de la Commission de la Fonction publique ou par un organisme approuvé par ce dernier. Ce cours pourra durer jusqu'à douze(12) mois et la Commission en précisera le lieu.
